All of the toys on this page were made by Don Campbell of Gaylord Michigan. I was never a believer of scratchbuilt toys in all my years of collecting, probably because when you would see someone build one it would perhaps be nice but normally would not be real sturdy or "realistic", both of which would be very important qualities.

I met Don and his wife Deb at the National farm Toy Show in Dyersville and right away I knew I was hooked! Don can take one look at the real thing, and taking no measurements whatsoever, can come up with the most realistic, sturdy, beautiful replica you'd ever want to see. He makes them out of all steel construction and either bolts or welds the joints which makes for a far superior model.
